This was a fun pattern for a beginner and the swinging pompons are the best! It took me a few days to make, but I'm sure many of the more experienced craftsters could whip it up in a few hours.
BTW - isn't this the best site?  I'm constantly amazed at all of the talent and creativity posted every day.
It is humbling, yet inspiring.

Oh, you'll be so glad if you finish it!  I made three more after this one in different colors for my nieces and the girls all wore them ice-skating, (they were the coolest kitty gang at the rink).  And it gets easier every time you make it.  I want a sparkly, fluffy one like cute as a button meep92 made:http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=41089.0... maybe in the fall.

No, that little kitty picked the matching outfits out of a catalog so we splurged and got them for Christmas.  I'm not really into that sort of thing but I was pressed for time and her enthusiasm made it worth it!
