I only recently started to crochet things that were not granny squares or single-crochet-all-the-way-across blankets, and wanted to make a surprise present for a friend. I saw this puppy on a website that I can't remember at the moment and it was so cute I just had to make it.

(You can't see it very well, but there's a gigantic white tassel behind the cap.)
The only problem with Snoozy Puppy is that my mom has fallen in love with it and is one step away from forbidding me to give it away. ^^;;

Very cute, I have seen this pattern too, but was intimidated by the loops, good job!

Sweet! You went from granny squares and sc to THAT? Go Fozzie! ... I still haven't ventured into the toy arena... but I'm watching closely, getting up the courage... You are my hero of the day!

Aw, I'm flattered! The thing I like about toys is that most of it is just single crocheting in a circle - which means really easy. Tongue And the loops were actually easy to do once I figured out what the instructions were saying. They took an annoyingly long time for me to make, though. -_-

Aeroluci: The pink was Caron "Simply Soft," country peach. It's a really cushy yarn, it feels sooooo smooth and cuddly. The white and black were just Red Heart white and black, and the blue was something that I lost the label for. I wish there had been white and black Simply Soft skeins at the store, they feel really stiff in comparison to the peach. Sad
