Cheesy, I know, but my good friend got married last summer and I made her and her finace matching t-shirts that say "I heart" with each of their faces stenciled in place.  I gave the shirts to them as shower gifts, and they both wore them to the brunch they threw for their out-of-town guests the day after their wedding.

The quality of the pics below isn't so hot, but I have to admit that the shirts were a big hit with friends and family (especially the mothers of the bride and groom).  There's nothing like a little kitschy irony to bring out the nerd in all of us!  But be forewarned: seeing as the cheese factor here is virtually off the map, don't expect these gifts to be worn anytime after the honeymoon.   Wink

Cute.  They'd also be good turned into throw pillows for the bed if they're not being worn anymore.  (I hate to waste a good t-shirt.)

Since they're both my good friends, I used photos I had taken of them on other occasions as templates for my stencils.

Thanks for all the terrific feedback!
