I thought some of you guys might like to participate in this or maybe just come by to see what other people are making.  I copied this from http://www.beltline.org/Projects.aspx:

Trash to Treasure

Designers, architects, artists or anyone with a creative touch is invited to convert a piece of Atlanta's "Trash to Treasure" which will be auctioned off to support Friends of the Belt Line. The event is sponsored by the Georgia Chapter, International Interior Design Association and will take place Thursday, September 15th from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at the Interface Flooring Systems Showroom at 75 Fifth Street NW, Suite 110 in Midtown. If you'd like to submit artwork, you should register by July 21. Help convert Atlanta's trash into treasure and support the Belt Line effort. For more information, download the IIDA flyer: (PDF) http://www.beltline.org/TTTcolorsmall.pdf

Although participants need to register by July 21, the artwork is not due until September 1...so you've still got plenty of time if you're interested Cheesy

(The Beltline is a new Atlanta transit system that is being developed.  Ryan Gravel designed the original idea for the beltline in his thesis at Georgia Tech.  If you love Atlanta, please check this out  Wink )
