Hello craftsters,

ech, I've been getting very frustrated lately trying to find cool and a little retro fabrics in my home town or at German online stores.
Can anyone recommend any cheap Canadian or US online stores that'll ship to Europe?
I've been seeing so many cool items on craftster that I want to make, but there's just no fabric that really strikes my fancy.
Recycling would be a good idea, but many of the thrift stores here are ridiculously expensive...

Got a hint?

Don't know about US fabric suppliers, but have you tried ebay? Both the US & UK sites usually have some great fabrics, especially if you look at the textiles bit for all-over lace drapes, sheeting etc, and almost all sellers will ship to Europe. Also try searching for Sari fabric on ebay, loads of beautiful beaded & embroidered fabric for not much money! HTH

This might help - it might not be retro but it looks like there is quite a range of stuff available from different suppliers.
