okay, etsyers! my contribution to the PIF phenomenon is posted...
go check it out!  http://www.girlscantell.etsy.com

ps. i'm super psyched about my own PIF selection - it's quite lovely and i can't wait for it - http://www.etsy.com/view_item_bought.php?listing_id=81820&transaction_id=20566 from tiinateaspoon!  her stuff is so gorgeous! (and i do believe i've seen her on this thread...)

it was a good day for business today, I sold 4 things in an hour   Shocked

so yeah, yay!  Now to convince people to buy some of my older things.  I'll probably put them on sale soon to clear out some of my old inventory.

tvtrayart,

I really appreciate you taking some time to think over my shop. There's a healthy amount of button-maker competition on Etsy. I've thought about fancying up my button options, but Kim and Justyn are both Etsy button makers who have that market covered. And, while I've been copied by plenty of others, I'm not comfortable doing anything too similar to those wonderful artists.

I am, however, going to start to include some earrings, cufflinks, and bobby pins based on my button designs. I hope that turns business around. I've already sold some cufflinks as a custom item.

I've got a line of personal notecards that I am getting ready to put out, and I really appreciate your encouragement in that direction. My two postcards currently have matching buttons in my shop, but I haven't actually made a listing that puts the two together. Maybe I will.

Thanks!

lol, heck no.  This just happened to be my big "blitz LJ" day and the earrings I used were very very cool and unusual, so they brought in the big crowd.  Normaly I'm lucky to sell two items a month, but since I put up the lower priced clips I've been making a few more sales.  I'm still befuddled why none of my star clips have sold (they're really adorable), but oh well!  eventually they'll find a good home....or go in my hair  Grin

ooooo, I love the flowers, AmyE!!

I've got a question for the 'soapers'.  The soaps I made are the size of peppermint patties...should I sell them in sets or individually.  They seem kinda small to be 'solo' items but then some people might not want to buy several of something they've never used before.
