Brand spankin' new pendants!

I tried a simpler idea this time, and thought I'd lower the price a bit and sell them as Handmade Supplies.

I HAVE A NEW TURTLE!!!!!  I got a request from a nice lady in Venezuela who wanted a turtle with a daisy chain on the back.  It came out so beautiful, that I am planning on making more of these with all those leftover carcases I couldn't think of a use for!!

bixby - OMG...that turtle is so CUTE!!!

missamorphosis - Your ornaments are beautiful, how the heck did you get the angels into the ornament?

BeaG - your chocolate lip balm holders look delicious!

PinkyK - Those trays are beautiful, my favorite is the one with the cirlces.

Dutchclassic - Love your "You Can Have It All" pendant, the yellow in that beautiful.

Dutchclassic, those are very pretty pendants!
You could do them in all sorts of colours. They're great.
I'm going to do some painting on small wooden objects myself. I want to use acrylic paint or perhaps oil paint. Could you advice me on how to prepare the bare wood and on what to use as a primer? I have painted trinket boxes before, but now I stumbled upon some wooden knobs for drawers (sorry, don't know the English word for them). They will be handled much more and I want to be sure the paint stays on nicely.

Knitting_nyxxie, thank you!

For those who like to knit socks, I posted a free pattern for these socks on my blog:  http://fearlessfibers.blogspot.com.

The yarn is available in my Etsy shop:  http://fearlessfibers.etsy.com.  The pattern uses the regular Merino Wool Sock Yarn (not the superwash, which knits at a tighter gauge and would require adjustment to the pattern).  You can, of course, also substitute any sock yarn you like with a similar gauge.
