tofutti, in my opinion, it'd probably be a good idea to have at least six items. List two when you open your shop, and one each day thereafter for four days.  It depends . . . if your items sell as fast as you list them, you might want more.  Wink

More than one type of craft: yes, if you have a theme - ie cats, food, fall colors, complementary crafts . . . otherwise it CAN look messy. Although with the new categories feature coming, that may be less of a handicap than it used to be.

Pinky, I got my finger yeseterday and it's great! My mom was at work when it arrived, so right before it was time for her to get home, I put it in the fridge, right next to the sweet tea pitcher (it's always the first thing she grabs when she gets home). I'm not too sure if this was a good idea, though, because she soon as she saw it, she proceded to drop the whole gallon of tea into the floor! lol  Cheesy

If you hit "edit" and don't hit "finish," it'll keep your listing in edit mode and no one can buy it. Smiley

ahh... I see.  I'm not sure if my ratty old computer will stay connected to the internet for 3 days straight!  Cheesy  That may be worth a shot, though.

Put them in edit mode.  You don't have to stay connected to the internet the whole time you are away

CLick on edit, to the right of your listing in your shop.  This will put it in edit
To keep it there, just click on "items for sale" from the edit screen.  This will put it in a list at the bottom of your screen.  It will not appear again in your shop until you go back to finish editing.  Saves you $.10 per item too.  If the item sells, then when you come back finish editing the item and then remove it from your shop.

Hey folks:

How's this for an over-the-top fabulous shawl!  It was designed by an amazing designer, Anne Hanson of http://KnitSpot.com and is available for purchase there.

The shawl was designed with my own Fearless Fibers Laceweight Cashmere, available in my shop:  http://fearlessfibers.etsy.com.

It's been such a thrill to watch this shawl progress from design to finished product.  Anne is such an AMAZING designer.   Yippee!!
