I don't think your prices are too high at all! Don't undersell yourself just to make sales, buyers will come eventually Smiley

I'm updating my etsy site because my website is having MAJOR issues (the joys of being hacked). Finally getting aroudn to putting some more metalwork up there. Hooray!

I totally agree .... don't undersell. If you are marking items down to clear them out well that is one thing but don't undersell yourself .... if you make it the buyers will come Smiley

Basically someone used an exploit in my webmail program (that lets me check my email from home when I'm at work) to turn my mail server into a GIANT SPAMATRON, sending out about 1500 spam emails in a day and a half. Since my website, http://www.dadahaus.com, is set up to send out emails generated by the server (for info requests, order confirmations, etc) we had to shut it down until we can get the mail server secure again.

These aren't issues most folks would have I don't think, but since we run our own web server, mail server, and DNS server out of the basement of our house, we have to deal with a few more issues than we would if I was paying for hosting with someone else. But anyone running a high-function cart like oscommerce or zencart should make sure it's patched to the latest version to keep hackers from using it to do things you don't want to. Like spam the world.

The good news is I'm using the time the server is down to updgrade to a newer, more secure, and all around cooler version of my shopping cart. *sigh* computers.

Geez !  I am sorry to hear of the troubles you have had and I hope your recipients were understanding. I guess I am glad to be one of those "regular folk" when I hear of stuff like that.
