When I woke up today, I saw that I'd sold 3 items overnight!  Grin
Isn't it nice when that happens?  Living on the East Coast, I often wake up to find sales since the othe rside of the country is still very awake.  This weekend went exceptionally well for me etsywise...anyone else see sales go up??

I wish this was the case, sales have slowed down for me, but I guess Ive slowed on adding new things b/c my shop is getting so full!

Congrats on the sales to you guys though thats awsome and I love all the craftster gals doing so well on Etsy it makes me so happy Cheesy

I FINALLY got this yarn up and posted: http://www.etsy.com/view_item.php?listing_id=156381

What do you think? I've got more that I (hopefully) will get up tomorrow. I've gone nearly 4 days without updating! Thats the longest I think I've ever gone without updating.

i think that yarn is marvy! in fact, i think it's *so* marvy that i just bought it from ya! aren't you glad that you now ship to canada? Wink but really, it was the colours that did it for me. i'm a *HUGE* aqua/lime green combo fan. check out this post to read about my (unhealthy???) obsession with it, lol. http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=70174.0

i'm realllllly sorry to read about your arm, and i hope that the rest of you is ok! i'm looking forward to seeing what else you add to your shop in the next couple of days, so don't worry about sending my yarn right away just in case i see some more that i like...

Thanks--I was just feeling a little ignored.  I'll continue lurking along quietly now . . .

Sometimes posts just get lost as quickly as they are posted.   Tongue I for one, love those earrings and meant to comment on them earlier.  They are so unique and I can't believe that you actually can do that with wire!  They'll go over great!!

Nancyger, congrats on your three sales!  Don't you love that?

Hey guys, I got featured on the front page of Etsy again! I'm surprised. Now I just wish some of the views would translate into sales! Guess I'll keep making stuff, keep listing, keep fingers crossed :-)

Cheers,
Miriam

I've got a skein of pink & green I'm posting this afternoon and I'm dyeing one more today. I think it'll be turq. & pink. I got green, turq., pink, & yellow dyes. What are some good color combos?

thanks to the people sending me info for the card exchanging list.  awesome!

man, i seem to have missed boatloads of excitement (and by excitement i mean locked threads...) on the etsy forums this weekend.  i think reading the locked threads is pretty interesting - to see a little more of a seller's personality than just their shop.  i still wish we could search for locked threads, but i guess that'd be pushing it.  i'm glad we're all so nice over here.  Smiley  no locking needed.

i can't wait to take some photos of my new stuff - a friend and i collaborated over the wknd.  she is a brilliant silkscreening artist and so i'm working with some of her prints to make things.  i can't wait to post this tote bag i made yesterday -it's absolutely awesome.  i just need it to be nice and sunny so i can get photos that will do it justice!!!

zitrone: the earrings are gorgeous!  although i was just thinking this morning, as much as i love fun, long earrings, i could really use nice bright, colorful studs to wear to work.  i wear a lot of black, brown and grey (i dunno why, i just like neutrals) and like to brighten up what i'm wearing with earrings.  but i don't think my 60-something year old bosses think long dangley fun earrings are work-appropriate (or maybe it's just me, subconsciously not letting myself get too funky for work).  anyone seen any bright, fun, work-friendly very short / stud earrings?  i usually like things that are pretty simple, but with good colors...

spangle: twice on the front page!  that's awesome!  i was just shaking the whole day i was there -it was so thrilling!

I hope so.  They're not made of wire, though, at least not the center--it's just a couple strands of embroidery floss.  Just the outer hoop is metal.

Congrats on all the over-night sales.  I had someone contact me last night about buying multiple pairs of my earrings, so cross your fingers that she follows through . . .
