I've never heard of them either, but it reminds me of this game my brother and I used to play that had flying purple pickles.  It was an Atari game... yes, I am that old.  Anyhow, great work on the embroidery.

Steph.....I think I remember that game.  did it have all kinds of other food flying by too?

There are so many atari games that I remember and nobody else does.  Like the boats that went by all different colors.  and the hide and seek game called Sneak and Peek (I think) where you could hide under the couch or outside.  I LOVED that game!

Back to the point.  I've never heard of the magic pickle either, but you did a really good job on it!

It did.  I think it was called Fast Food.  You had to eat all the hamburgers and hot dogs and such, but avoid the purple pickles.  We called it Purple Pickle Eaters, because I wasn't too good at avoiding them.

Edit--I just had to google it:  http://www.ataritimes.com/2600/reviews/fastfood.html
