I just made a shop on Etsy today:).
what do you think?
www.Kinoko.etsy.com

Show a photo of the underside so I can see if it looks secure enough not to pop off the barrette.  This is my pet peeve about hair clips like this.

They are adorable and well priced, but you have to give some information about construction and materials.  "Magic" is cute,  but I suspect that magic is glue....  If also looks to me like felt, not "fabric".

Etsy recommends we use all 14 of our tags!  Think of more descriptors for your items so that people can find them when they do a keyword or tag search.

I've been contemplating opening a shop for about a year now, and this past week I decided to go for it.

I plan to make more stuff, of course, but what do you craftsters think so far?

Prices ok? Pictures alright?

TIA!

You should write in the presentation that you make the things yourself.
Also, tell about the materials, are the hooks silver plated? Nickel free?

Thanks for your input:).
I did not even think about a back shot, thanks.
I have had that problem(popping off) with earrings I have bought(the cabachon kind) they just fall off, I get so sad:(.

I do a test period where I literally wear a prototype everywhere.
The only thing they do not hold up against is swimming in chlorinated water(I have not tried lakes or ponds yet Wink).
I was not sure though if I should write all that on my etsy shop?Huh
What does everyone think?

I'd love to have my shop critiqued. It's a bit plain and I think the descriptions could be added to but I don't want to add TOO much to the description, because I think that they get so wordy and people just don't read it!

So! Help! Critique away! I would love constructive criticism!

CheetahChiq78,
First off, I love your flowers! They are really pretty, especially the roses! One thing I noticed right off was the lack of dimensions. They are really pretty though!

I just checked out your site and your products are AWESOME.

Not only are they original looking but also fairly priced...

I think marketing is where you need to focus.

Show your wares to people..they will come!!! :-)

I think your visuals and product are awesome!  I would describe on the main page, instead of more to come, what they actually are.  I can tell they're fabric, but are they silk, polyester or other?  Just a very gentle suggestion cuz otherwise...great!

Cheetahchiq78 -

Purty!!  Your pics are nice, not blurry or anything - my only suggestion would be is MORE pics!  You have up to 5 that you can have for each pic.  So, you could do a couple of different side shots to show the dimension (especially on the feathery ones) and maybe a pic of the pin on the back?
