Hey guys! I just started my etsy shop a couple weeks ago with some pocket mirrors. I'm hoping to add some more earrings and bobby pins soon. What does everyone think?

thanks,

Ellen -your shop looks very nice. However, it's winter, so I don't think you'll have a lot of sales around this time unless you have some seasonal (or season-less) items. I don't like that variety of head displays, they look cheap and the hairlessness always freaks me out, but I know that a good display is an investment... The pictures themselves are very good. I think 3/4 turn is best for thumbnail pictures, so I don't know if you can change the order on things you already posted or not, but.. yeah.

Molly - I like your mirrors, but I would've liked to see more shots, like a shot of the mirror itself. (I know that can be hard to take though!) Also, since they don't look like they are the compact-type mirrors, wouldn't they scratch from hanging around in the bag? If so, maybe you can offer a pouch to carry them in, in matching fabric?

Hello Hello-Color, thanks a lot for your feedback! I really appreicate your frankness, polite "ohhhh that's... nice" doesn't get anyone anywhere!

I am in the Southern Hemisphere, and it's heating up here, but you're right to point out that the majority of my customers need something a little warmer (I'm also in Sydney, so never really think about people experience freezing winters!).

Funny that you said the head is creepy - you sound just like me! Except I find heads with hair creepy! I actually want to start getting some modelled shots done, but my budget doesnt stretch to a pro just yet, so need to figure out what to do there...

Anyway, sorry for the rant-reply & thanks a lot for the feedback =D

Hey Ellenade-

I really like the hairless model heads.  I like that you get the color and shape of your hats but that you aren't distracted by the head itself. I like that the heads are similar in color to the background so that they just fade away. You don't want people to look at the model you want them to see you head gear.  I like the neat and clean look.  Best of luck...
