erinberin...i like your stuff but i'd use a black font and maybe a consistent back ground (or same one per type maybe). a link to a conversion site is an option...

Very cute items in your shop, and I like the main photos you post with the borders. However, it is always nice to do more than one photo of an item. Show how it can be used, and action shot if you will. Also perhaps a shot with a point of reference for size. Like next to a coin.

Otherwise I think your shop looks good. Smiley

Ooh ooh, me, do me! Grin

I'm working on a bio/profile: do you think including bits about training my dog would be good (interesting)?

Any feedback on what might make my items more appealing/different?

Any thoughts are welcome. Thanks!

i like your aprons and fabrics...the idea of a service dog is really interesting, we only have them for visually and hearing impaired people in oz.

girlindocs -

I'm a newbie so I don't wanna overstep bounds  but you might want to work on the quality of your pics.  I like you circle skirt but the pic is blurry.  Some of the pics of the other things are way dark and a few of them have light source issues.  There's a pic where the apron is right next to the window and so one side of the apron has a glare from the light and the other side is way dark.

So, be aware of your light source - usually having the light behind you and a little to the side seems to work for me.  Natural light is way better than a flash but sometimes I try the flash just to see if it might be a good option.

It seems like plain backgrounds work well and putting something interesting in the pic is nice.  For instance, a few wooden spoons with the aprons or some veggies or something.

It's good that you mentioned why the silk dress is wrinkled.  I was going to mention it but then read the description and I think you're right.

Hope this helps!  Best of everything to you!

I agree. Smiley  Part of the reason for this is that you are trying to use a picture that is smaller than Etsy's posting.

For example, this is your picture http://images.etsy.com/all_images/e/e99/7a5/il_fullxfull.13253120.jpg (252 x 292 pixels)
And this is how big Etsy strrrrretches your picture out to fit the posting http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=7629287 (430 x 498 pixels)

So, if at all possible, use images BIGGER than the posting page size because stretching causes image distortion.

Hope that makes sense!
