Funny that you should mention that WIPs. I just asked a friend if I could borrow her camera. She is dropping it off this weekend.

Thank you for the compliment.  Grin

Foolily, congratulations on your first sale. I doubt that it could be beginner's luck, because your item is really great and well-made. I love the color combinations and very functional.

I think you could also up your price a bit. Your product is definitely worth it.

Yes, the banner does need some work, but I don't own Photoshop and I suck at designs, so no advice.

Good luck! Smiley

Thanks WIPs!  Before I could change the price of my first one it was sold so I thought I should give the same price to others too.  I just upped my prices.. hope it's not so much that it deters people from purchasing!

I also changed the banner.  I made this in Paintbrush!! haha this will have to suffice until I learn Photoshop.. who knows how long that would take!  Is this banner better?  Can you tell it's from Paintbrush?

Yay, you added another item!

The banner is a bit un-readable.

Foolily,

It's okay.  I would suggest doing a search in Etsy for 'Etsy Banner' and look at the cool things they're selling in banners nowadays.  Not that you have to buy...they are from 5-10 bucks, which is cheap!  But, you can kind of get an idea of the cool things you could do, even in Paintbrush.

Seriously, I think your product deserves a kickin' banner!!!

I agree with RM. You have to have a banner like your awesome products!

Something I thought when I looked at the latest version was that WE know it's Foolily with an F, but the font makes it look like maybe a 'J'.  Could be confusing to customers.

If you keep that banner, consider a different font.

Good luck!  I will look you up when I get a passport!!!

Oh, hey Foolily,

I saw this banner and thought that you might just snap a closeup of your lovely patchworked fabric and tada!  It would match your product perfectly!

Just a thought!

Thanks!  I am in the same boat as Foolily...I have to work from Paintbrush!  So, I think this might be a good way to work around the graphics part.  If she can get a really good closeup.

I used to not want to comment on here, since my own shop is so much less than perfect.  But, I figure that all they want is someone's honest opinion.  And I have a lot of opinions, so why not contribute?!!!  Hahahaha.

Later,
RM
