i've collected a lot of belt buckles & unless you can weld it'd be pretty difficult to make a useful buckle...  but you could at least buy blanks & decorate them.  there's a company based out of providence that makes all sorts of metal pins & buckles & badges:
they used to have a factory in town, too, but that was torn down a few years ago.  it was a goldmine for buckles & findings.

I checked the hookfast site and it had belt buckles that could be engraved.  But it didn't have buckles that you could decorate, or plain to hot glue something to.  Do you know of any sites like this?

a lot of what they can do at hookfast isn't on the site, you can order the catalogue & it'll tell you more.  or just call them, they're nice providence folk!  i spoke to them about doing some custom buckles & it was a price for the buckle + letters + image.
