Hi, all!

I have a quandary. I'm making Oblina (from the show Aaah! Real Monsters!) for a friend and she's almost done. The problem is, I can't figure out how to make her lips. I found one or two patterns online, but they don't really look like hers. Does anyone know any good lips patterns? Here's a pic for reference:


I was thinking some kind of shell stitch, similar to how some flowers are made.

Edit: Got it! I played around a bit with slowly increasing over a chain stitch, making sure to put a few taller stitches in the middle.
