This project was created for an art challenge put on by a local re-use and re-purpose organization, MECCA. I paid a small fee to sign up then was given a non-art item to turn into artwork for their annual Object Afterlife Art Challenge. I received a stack of cds. I was unsure about them initially and spent quite a while brainstorming before I came up with this guy. I am pleased with how he turned out. He is filled with fiber-fill and about ten pounds of sand to give him a nice solid heft.
