Hurray Fibre Friday!

Two yarns, both merino, both not set. (hence the crazy curls in the single!)

My level 3 final project yarn, BFL/Silk 80/20, ~323 yards hopefully enough for a short pair of socks. It's indigo dyed. it took oddly, with some darker spots then others.

I also dyed some scarves that day, and half wonder if it was the scarves that killed the indigo vat sooner then it should have.

I also did a bunch of acid dyeing, but I'm going to save that for it's own post on the dyeing boards.  What have you been up to lately?

I LOVE the indigo silk yarn! I can imagine what a pair of socks made from that would feel like. You are a spinning wizard!

Love it! I carded a couple batts up from my stash, its from dyed roving that got a tad felted in the process. It spins great now though!

And a fiber kitty picture. Smiley

Happy Fiber Friday!

Bella, those first too look like they were a lot of fun to spin. The dip shots are really interesting, too. Thanks for sharing!

Rodelphia, That batt looks so fun! And it's spinning great, too. Are you going to ply it?

I have a yarn to share, but not yet. It's still drying.
