Ooooh, I get to post my goodies first! Grab a coffee claimed me twice, and I received some lovely things, as usual!

First, there are three baby blankets, two crochet and one knit (the knit one is from your mom, was that right?), look:

Eszter says the two crochet blankies will be square like the knit one after washing, so the three of them are in the wool cycle right now.

Here is the pretty pattern on the crochet blankets:

And here is where they will probably end up a lot of the time, knowing my now 3yo, because dollies always need to go nekkid and thus need lots of cuddly blankets:

And then there are two huge pieces of fabric, very bright dotty circles and a very soft pink (rose) with a thin white stripe:

The circles will probably end up as some kind of lining or backing, as I'm not a huge fan of red/blue, but the pink one is so sweet! The circles remind me of something from when I was very young, probably a shirt of my mom from the seventies. (So funny, because I received a flowery fabric bin last week that looked as if it was made of some of our bed sheets from that time...)

Eszter, thank you very much, as always, and please say thank you to your mom as well, I love the blanket!

received some solid fat quarters from Jen (actsofcraftiness) along with some bottle leashes. The baby's bottle or sippy cup goes in the string end, after you loop the other end over the stroller or hi chair.

Thanks so much Jen, pastor and his wife just had their third son and I have a couple others in mind for the leashes and it will be a great start to a baby gift stash.

What a great haul of fabrics - you'll have a lot of fun with those!

anna.wahnsinn sent me a lovely package! Smiley there's a folder to put art work in with a dalek on it (I <3 daleks), and she also sent me a wonderful book -  a collected edition of Grimm's fairytales (like she had as a child), so I can brush up my very rusty German. Herzlichen Dank Anne!

(sorry again for the delay posting....)

Gern geschehen, jemimah! I've kept the stencil, just to be on the safe side.  Wink Cutting that stencil out took even longer than making the folder. I need to find a better way of marking (and cutting!) huge pieces of cardstock, that one was so wonky, I kept cutting and cutting. One better way would probably to do it all alone in the first place...

Oooh, all those solid fabrics together look so yummy! And the bottle leashes are great, I'll need to make one of those for Hanna. I made something rather unsimilar for Lea two years ago, but it didn't really work that great...
