That is soooooo cute!   I've always had a heck of a time with intarsia...Did it take a long time and how did you get it to stay so flat?  Nice job!  I'm impressed ... and a wee bit jealous!

Definitely higher than $30....you need to factor in how much your materials cost, and then charge some sort of hourly wage for your time.  I sell the scarves and purses I make (website coming soon!) and the way I charge for my scarves is that my yarn costs $10 (1 ball per scarf) and then my hourly wage is $5/hour.  They take about 6 hours to do, so my price for almost all of them is $40.  Check out the Crafty Business section of crafter if you have questions, they all are really helpful.

Not to rain on anybody's parade, but I'm not sure about the legalities of selling something with a spidey image on it.  Since Spiderman is a creation of someone else, licensed by a company, I think they would have grounds to take legal action.

It's just a risk to be aware of if you decide to make these for profit.

A friend of mine has a silkscreening company, and he's being sued by Volkswagen, because one of his shirts has an image from "Fast Times At Ridgemont High" on it (with Spicolli and his friends spilling out of their van), and on the graphic you can see the VW logo.

Sounds bunk, but I'm sure Marvel would come after anyone who co-opted one of their characters.
