Hi Folks. I have a White serger, model 7340. I am test driving it to see if it works before I buy it. I threaded it all, successfully. I powered up, inserted a piece of fabric to test and heard some god awful noise.
When I look at the needle mechanisms, it looks like the needle for the second thread from the right, is getting kinked up on the needle for the far right thread. When I roll the knob towards me, the needles don't want to pass.
Is this something I can fix with a screw tighten/loosen, or move the needle or did I break the thing before I even got to use it?
Any help would be most greatly appreciated. I'm new to serging but was really excited to try it.

Sounds like a bent needle to me.

Are you positive you have it threaded correctly? I have a Brother but if I don't thread it just right and remember to turn the wheel at one point it gets all messed up and I have to start over.
