Yup. A bit bizarre. I can see why people would not "get it". But interesting all the same. Illustration/photography/collage of this style is often purchased in magazines, if you can get the copyright clearances for what you have used {or just use your own and skip that part!}. Advertising agencies, and even the mags themselves...National Geographic, Reader's Digest...often purchase this style art.

Writer's Market publishes a book yearly with the query info that you would need to submit things for purchase, and the addresses for you to share things for. You can find this book in your library reference section. You don't have to buy it. You can just photocopy the pages you need, or write the info down.

You seem to have a good knack for things, and an interesting "bend".

Keep on it. I think you are on to something. There are a lot of publications out there wanting this type of art to advertise things, and supplement their editorials with arts. For the pretty picture to capture the eye at the start of their story.

Just my two cents. Hope I have helped  Grin

Oh my gosh, these are wonderful! Sooo much fun! They are all awesome and the octopus is scary in a wacky sort of way, but my total fave is the bunny fooling with the mountaintop.  Nice job!

It were lightnin'...

These are so fun!  and awesome Grin  Do you put your illustrations right on to the photo-I ask because I saw some pieces in an art gallery this past weekend where the artist painted on the glass which made for a cool effect as well.

I like them very much - a bit scary, but so funny.

Very funny. I  think I like the Desert Hare the best but the cat and knitters is also a favourite.
