I received the nerdiest package from roler yesterday ( neediness is soooo good!!)

Behold a Totoro felt badge - love the image and cute little leaves and the colours you chose roler!! There is also an awesome bunch of ribbon for my supply stash - I have a million ideas already for using these bits and pieces and a Pratchett inspired card ( inspired by rolers favourite quote 'and the new day was a great big fish').

Thank you, thank you, thank you roler - I love everything!!

Great start to the gallery!  I really love that card, and the badge is so cute!  It looks like there are a lot of fun ribbons in there, too!

I'm so glad you like it!! Smiley  I'd never made a felt badge before but I can really see myself getting hooked on them!

And the thing I always notice about ribbons is that I usually only use a short length at a time, but I always wish I had a bigger variety.  So I hope these little pieces can help you make some fun and colorful things! Smiley

Have you or other swap partners made Pratchett-inspired crafts before?  I'd actually never even thought about it before!  I found a few on pinterest, but not a whole ton... I'd love to see what kind of other crafts people make about Discworld! Smiley

I received a fantastic package from Calabaza yesterday! We also agreed to swap extras Smiley

First, the group shot:

The official items are: the small zipper pouch (small item), the TM patch (the medium and the card combined- the card was pinned to the back, and the patch took way longer than she expected!), and the supply kit for making TM patches (2 FQs, pearl cotton, and polyfil).

The extras are the other two zipper pouches. The pouches are really cool because they A) Stand open on their own, B) Show the life cycle of a sunflower (seed, shoot, flower) and C) They NEST INSIDE EACH OTHER! Wink I love them! And, I think I'm going to use them for carrying around my TM patch supplies Grin

And, here's a close-up shot of the TM patch (81 on the Periodic Table is Thallium):

The stitching is so neat! It looks like she did couching, using clear thread. The stitches on the back are nearly invisible! It's a great addition to my collection!

Thanks so much, Calabaza!
