My teen daughter has been asking for a pet guinea pig...however there is no way she is going to get one...sorry darling but you can't even remember to feed the dogs...
So I was inspired anyway and after drafting up myself a pattern, out came this pretty cute little guinea!

I love it!!  I always had guinea pigs for pets as a kid, and since I'm not home reliably enough to take care of one now, something like that would be perfect! So cute!

Just rocked you. That darn thing looks real! Neat job.

And yeah, daughter had a live one. I ended up being the one to care for it after the first two weeks. But they are cute, and make cute little noises. Ours was the longer hair 'Lhasa Apso' kind. Where you can put a ponytail on top like Barbie  Cheesy to keep the fur out of their eyes.

Very nicely done. I hope daughter enjoys it, and gets better at feeding the dogs  Roll Eyes

Awww I love that little piggy! He looks quite real! In fact, in the thumbnail when I clicked it, I had thought it was real! What did you use for the fur? If its not real, its the most real looking I have ever seen!
We had a Guinea pig for all of 24 hours in our house, Kiddo turned out to be very allergic Sad So "King Candy" had to go back to his previous home & we were quite sad.
I hope your daughter enjoys her new piggy! Grin

Oh my goodness. That is incredibly adorable! And, I imagine, much easier to care for.  :-)
