Real Men Carry A Craft Bag!

This is the largest piece I have done to date. Just shy of 25,000 stitches, 17 colors and over a foot tall, it took me 3 years to stitch! It is based on the art from the late nineties VHS box set. It came in gold and silver and I always thought it would look cool in red.

I have to give a big thanks to my wife. I got a lot of guesses on the finished piece through the years and even when it was complete my daughter wasn't sure if it looked very "Vader-ish". I got a little bummed and put it away. Windy is the one who ironed it, washed it and framed it. She has a little more faith in me than I do (I'm pretty lucky that way).

Here is a close up of some of the stitches/colors:

An amazing piece of work. Abstract but definitely Vader. I love it.

Killer!!!    Shocked
I for one think that  Lord Vader would approve of your patience.
Excellent work. Looks fabulous framed and hanging on the wall.
