I know our dear friends Susan and Leslie are not swapping but I love the Ninni swaps.

What is a Ninni you ask? Here is the link:

http://blog.revoluzzza.com/2009/02/25/tutorial-hopw-to-sew-a-revoluzzzionary-monster-wie-man-ein-revoluzzzionares-monster-naht/

I have made small Ninnis and I have made large ones. My preK sewing group has made Ninnis. They are super easy and super fun to adapt to whatever theme, character or holiday you like.

Well, I didn't want to step on your toes for the character stuffy/plushie swap....and I like it when we all start with the same pattern or idea and interpret it our own way. Like the altered spool swap or the altered paintbrush swap.

And, I could list Frankenstein or Dracula as my themes, and those are both recognizable characters. So maybe a mixture of both ideas...

I'm 99.9% certain I can come up with a knitting pattern for this, would that be acceptable? And I'm thinking bat wings too... Grin

That sounds awesome, Emily. I'll bet some swappers would love a knitted Ninni.

okay, cool ! As long as everyone else is happy with character ninni's as well, if the person wants? I would be in then.

Maybe sign ups in early September so there is a month to craft and send mid-October?

Or shoot, maybe sign ups now...hmmm. I think I need a co-org b/c I may have overbooked, organizing-wise.

Okay, back on track. I'm not organizing something I thought I was so I can do this. I will push the dotees ahead to mid-September and we'll do this first.

So sign-ups in August, craft in September and send out in early October.
