I was making something for Im Sew Silly and her daughter for the OWS. She really wanted a small diorama, and some of her themes were whimsical, sewing, and birds. So I made her a miniature avian tailor's shop.



They have a tree for growing their own buttons. I think the portrait on the back of the door is of Great Uncle Chirp.



They have a nice window that opens onto the garden, so they can enjoy the view while they work.



It's very different from most of what I make - it was a lot of fun to do! Smiley

Hey Jemimah! I still cant put into words how much I truly adore my little diorama "Feathers & Chirp"!
And now, hearing your story to go along with it, I love it even more. <3 Great Uncle Chirp! & Growing their own buttons! <3 (I am a button collector so this tickled me so!)
I am so thankful and will cherish this wonderful creation you have made for us always!  Grin

Exodus 35:35 (NIV)~ He has filled them with skill to do all kinds of work as engravers, designers, embroiderers in blue, purple, and scarlet yarn and fine linen, and weavers - all of them skilled workers and designers
