I haven't been on this website in forever! My senior year of high school hit me really hard and I had time for nothing else but school. Good news is that it's all over - until September that is when I start up in college (Savannah College of Art and Design for anyone who's curious Grin)

Anyway, I really glad to be back! AND I'm really glad to have this project done.

I found the fabric in my basement from my mom's wonderful stash. I love the way the fabric moves so I knew I had to make a skirt or dress out of it! I was originally going for a skirt with a drawstring but once I started drafting it, I realized that I could make it be a dress or a skirt (I'm all about those convertible dresses!)

Have a wonderfully fantastic days, everyone!  Cheesy

I love this dress. I love the simplicity of it and how it still looks neat and not scruffy.  Also yellow is my favourite colour. Such a pretty dress and skirt.
Also congratulations on getting in to college. I should think you will be a natural for art and design.

So many cute ways to wear this!  What did you use for the ties?

I really love it worn as a skirt...but having options is the best part...and the color is lovely!

Thanks, always in my room! Cheesy I'm always a fan of convertible stuff! For the obvious reason of it basically being 2 or more articles of clothing in one (without taking up more closet space Wink)
The drawstring and "belt" were both ropes that I bought at Jo Anns. Their a basic braided, white cord.
