Gorgeous!!!!  I saw a man on Carol Duvall that was an artist, not one of her featured craftsters, that made these huge lit sculptures using layer upon layer of paper and thin reeds to make these awesome almost wave-like forms.  He would also incorporate driftwood sometimes.  They were beautiful!  Some were enormous!  And if I remember correctly, which is an iffy prospect, they sold for tons!!!

Your lamp reminds me ALOT of his work!  Congrats!

that sounds really cool. i am going to her web site and see if i can check it out. and thanks for the compliment! Smiley

That is such a great inspiration! I'm looking to jazz up two lamps when I'm going to have two weeks free in August to do crafts, and I'll be thinking about this one when I get to my project! Please put up a tutorial when you have the chance!

This is lovely.  I bet it would look good with a colored light bulb, too.

This is awesome.  I was thinking of doing something like this with a lamp that I have!  Mine has three bare bulbs that stick out from the base, and one huge glass shade around a bigger bulb in the center.

This tutorial will really help me get it done!  One question if you don't mind me asking.  How did you attach the wire forms to the lamp shade?  THat is what I"m having the most trouble with.
