PerfecltyBohemian and I exchanged our shrines in person late this morning/early afternoon and boy oh boy, did she outdo herself!
I am so delighted and happy to have PB as my partner!
Here is the wonderful Shrine she made for me:
 It's a solar powered lantern!

I adore it. She hand made everything in there, from the polymer clay sprite, the beautifully done shrine behind her head and the stunning moth at her feet!
The background forest scene is all hand painted as well.

Every detail is so well thought out and crafted. The tiny mushrooms, the eggs, her wee hat. (Sorry about the reflection of my fingers in the glass)

Her hair is made of mohair and her nest sits on a spool! Lovely!

PerfectlyBohemian even painted some beautiful birds she sees in her back garden on the back of the lantern.

A charming, lovely thing to have in my home! PB, thank you so much for all your care and thoughtfulness! I love what you made me and it has been a privilege to be your partner.  Kiss

Wow, these are all amazing! I tried to go through and pick out favorite details, but they're all so different and so lovely. This gallery is off to an awesome start.

I'm so glad I sent mine out to my partner before I looked at the gallery though, lol. Smiley

I picked up my shrine from Cackle today and got to enjoy some amazing Earl Grey while we chatted this afternoon. She made me an amazing (interactive) bird-themed shrine! I've been learning about birds and doing some amateur backyard bird watching since my husband and I bought our house in April, so I love everything with birds lately!

The star of this shrine was a little guy that I admired on another project that Cackle did (and I pinned Grin). (I think he is a blue tit, but I've not seen one in person before). I love all the little twigs she added. They add a touch of organic to the very orderly feel of the shrine. And how about that crown of twigs on the top?!:

She needle-felted the teeny little eggs that this fellow is guarding <3:

There is a lovely pair of "framed" bird/plant hangings on the sides of the shrine. And time for a little confession: I love velvet ribbon - this shrine has it all over! I think the bows above the frames are the sweetest thing ever:

And I completely missed that the knob on the front was for a proper drawer!! (I'll blame it on sleep-deprivation Wink) I was instructed to open it, and I discovered some more birds on some amazingly assembled "tags":

I've actually taken photos of some of these guys in my back yard Smiley

And in case everyone was not aware, Cackle has some of the most beautiful lettering!!

I love my new bird shrine! Thanks so much Cackle! You were an amazing partner. And thanks a ton Smeddley for organizing Cheesy
