SO I AM HAVING A BABY. And pretty stinking excited about it! My husband and I finished up her nursery recently and I just wanted to share it with you guys. Everything in here was made (or remade in some form or fashion) by me except for the crib, the shelves, and the rocking chair. I'm so tickled with how it came out! More details are on my blog...but now...PICTURES.

The crib skirt I made from an old curtain (and its adjustable!); the mobile was made with t shirt pom poms and an embroidery hoop; the artwork on the wall was all free printables from online!

The round things are dollar store placemats!

I painted the 'L'; made the 'twinkle twinkle' painting (IT LIGHTS UP); and made the q-tip flowers from a tutorial I found online somewhere

Her clothing/stuff armoire that we repurposed from an old TV cabinet (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=434546.msg5219060#msg5219060)

We made this little shelf out of pieces of a bigger shelf we found on the side of the road lol...I recovered the lamp shade (I already owned) with scrap chevron fabric.

I don't want to break the internet with ALL THE PICTURES, but I think these cover most everything!

Congratulations! I am sure your little "L" will love her new home. I love all the details that you gave for things, and your re-purposing of items, too! It looks like a comfortable place for baby. And functional for you, as well. And the furnishings look like they will grow as the baby does. And can still be used for a while, as in not too baby like. Nice job. Give hubby a kiss  Grin you both did great!

NEW REQUEST: Need quilting fabric with ONLY purple, grey, green. Solids or Prints in any combination/shades, but NO OTHER COLORS ALLOWED. HELP! They are hard to find.

All of it is adorable. My Son just told me they are expecting number 2 Grandchild, this gives me some good ideas.
