So I bought this beautiful cashmere lace weight yarn and I have been waiting for the right pattern for it, but I am itching to use it so now I'm on the hunt for a pattern. I thought it would make a nice slouch hat for summer, but I can't find a pattern anywhere for a slouch hat pattern in lace weight. I'd kind of like something not plain, but not too busy. I have about 220 yards. Since I don't want to have to frog my precious yarn, anyone have a pattern I can use?

Check out Ravelry..you can search by item, yarn type and yardage.

Do you have a pic of the hat you would like, maybe posting one will help us find a similar pattern for you?

that's the thing, I really don't have anything too specific in mind, so long as I can make it with my 220yds lace weight, and it slouches. Open to suggestion! Smiley

The only pattern I found for a crochet beanie is part of a $12 kit that includes the yarn for the project.

I have tons of beanie patterns but none are quite right for this yarn, I think I might just end up winging it with a bit of ribbing and a nice shell stitch
