I had to alter a few letters as I embroidered them on unbleached calico and the carbon paper marks showed.
I tried lots of erasers and markers to no effect.
Then I dabbed Cutex Nourishing Nail Polish Remover with a cotton bud.
It removed the carbon marks but left a greyish circle spread around.
Nothing to lose by now, I put Softly in cold water, wet the article and put dobs of Palmolive Antiseptic hand wash on the grey marks.
I gently rubbed the spots and hey presto, gone. Hope it helps you all, sometimes the simplest..............
