I think I want to do a Halloween themed quilt, but there's this little voice in my head saying "Christmas too), but I think doing 2 groups might be overwhelming first time around

once ya get started it doesnt seem to matter how many groups ya in. I started with one I think in round 2. Have been doing all three groups since then lol

I love learning and when someone picks a block that makes me think I love it. I also learn so much and have tried so many different things. Like the paper piecing wouldnt try it on my own but since it has been picked a few rounds have come to enjoy it and get better each time.

applique another i wasnt looking forward to trying on my own, but have since doing this swap and i like it still not great at it but i do like it.

well and wonderment

I agree, Carol...we learn a lot even if we complain! Grin

I think I can't do a block, but once I sit down and study it, it really is fun!  The hardest thing is picking the blocks for others to make...

I set up my machine that I use for quilting on the dining room table this week...I plan on doing some marathon quilting of a lot of quilts that I did last year before this round starts! Grin

I'm going silent for the next few days. Having our family reunion at a campsite that doesn't have Internet access. Imagine that! Will see what ya'll are up to on Sunday evening when I'm home again or on Monday if I'm too pooped to go on line. Expecting near 100 degree temps. so my brain may be fried by the time I'm home.  Undecided

I've been trying hard to resist this swap but finally decided I can't ... all 8 pages read, still shaking my head over some of you and about to work on my questionnaire.  Grin

Shaking your head over us? Surely not! Glad you're joining our merry bunch. We really aren't as bad as we sound. Well, maybe I am, but the others are okay. Really they are. And even I'm not too bad if you keep me away from JoAnn's and sharp objects.

Taking off for a few days to go camping (dh's family reunion), but will talk to you all Sunday evening. Have been pestering him all spring to go camping; temperatures are suppose to be 100 degrees this weekend, so of course we go this week. I'm melting at the thought.   Undecided

Oh yes, shaking it over many of you!!  I'm not new to this swap - participated in rounds 1-3 - so I know what I'm getting in to  Shocked

I remember. Three was the round I chose Thistlebloom and you chose quilter's choice. Think I got the better end of that swap! I'm much nicer this time though.  Grin
