I recently organized a Dreamcatcher Swap, and was fortunate enough to swap with the lovely FiberAlchemist.  I had a very hard time deciding exactly what to make for her, as she had some many wonderful ideas pinned.  I was torn between a crafty themed dreamcatcher for her craft room, or a subtly geeky Doctor Who dreamcatcher, so I decided to try working on both, and see which one "clicked" for me during the crafting process.  This is the first one I started, a crafty themed piece in shades of red and turquoise to match her craft room.

Here it is in its new home, FiberAlchemist's craft room.  (Aka, her "Lady Lair", which made me laugh out lout.)

The hoop is wrapped with a yarn that is made from recycled silk saris.  The webbing is pearled cotton embroidery thread, decorated with red crystal and turquoise star shaped shell beads.  The fringe is a mix of more silk sari yarn, and teal ribbon, accented with pearlized glass crow beads in red and turquoise.

And a few more shots taken at my home.

The second dreamcatcher I made for her can be seen here:  Geeky Doctor Who Dreamcatcher.
