I saw this big grody ankle length skirt on the $2 rack and knew that it needed to be transformed (sorry, no before photos)... I whipped up this vintage inspied bikini! I didn't have a pattern, so I just eyeballed it, which actually worked in my favor because its tailored to my body. I  can never find a bathing suit that fits me everywhere and I like!

I am also inspired.  I have a body type similar to yours and have experienced similar frustrations with bathing suits.  I love my body, but something about mass-produced spandex doesn't work with it. That suit looks fantastic on you!  Did you line it with anything?

Thanks everybody!

I didn't line it with anything on the bottom, because the material was a bit thick and I thought it would be bulky. On the top there are two layers almost like a hollow casing, so I slipped small bra pads inside before sewing it closed for extra shape and coverage.
