100 things are easy to think of, but hard to imagine in one craft. I recently became the owner of a box of doll arms (impulse bid on eBay that won). I had this wooden purse, a thrift store find, that cried out to become a shrine, but no inspiration. Then I found a penny on the ground and it all burst into fruition.

But I had to find 99 more pennies. I searched my car, the change bowl, the laundry area, the bottom of my purse and came up with 69 pennies. What? Only 69. So I started designing, gluing, thinking of things I could buy that would give me pennies.
Luckily I finally found the big change jar and 31 more pennies joined.

Enjoy "Pennies from Heaven" and pass those pennies forward.

You say "scientist or artist?" like they're mutually exclusive.

I really like this. Do you have any plans for the other side of the box?

Not yet. I rather like the plain exterior, then the rich interior. But for the inside of the lid...it hasn't struck me yet. I think this may be an ongoing project. I may just end up being a felt or velvet lining to finish it and not draw away from the art. It turned out much better than I had thought. Now I want to find more wood boxes.

It seems to me a share the riches theme, passing pennies/riches/good deeds on. So the title may get changed.

I love the "pennies from heaven" theme, and the way you conveyed the richness of all the pennies. Great job!
