I made this bag for my friend's birthday. I'm not much of an embroiderer, my hands just can't take too much of it, so most of this is machine sewn. I used lots of patches, paint, beads etc. My favorite part is the strap. I used the straps and  buckles(?) from an old pair of overalls because I wanted the strap a bit longer and I LOVE how it turned out. Now I just hope she likes it as much... Roll Eyes

This tute gave me the inspiration to try a bag like this:

And this one is where I got the construction instructions I still use for almost all of my bags:

Oooh!  Lovely job, and I adore the idea for the strap, too!  Your friend is very lucky. Smiley

Such a thoughtful and bright present for your friend. Love all the embroidered patches - I am totally stealing that idea!

I love how you can look and look and still find new elements on this bag! Very cool!

That's a great take on the TM patches. I remember "craftlittlemonkey"  bag too. I like how she put the bag together but still made the patches the TM way. It turn out pretty good. Your machine sewn looks great too & the idea of using patches is cool too & love the handle! Great Job!!

Will do personal swaps!! I make Art Dolls/Junker Jane Dolls/Raggedy Ann & Andy Dolls/also TM Patches

Thanks you guys! I was going to give it to her yesterday, but she ended up having to work Sad
So, now she has to wait!

That is really cool. I see Klem on there, and Jeremy.
She is going to love it!

I love nonsense - it wakes up the brain cells!
