I'm a huge video game fan, and when i saw this long skinny canvas for sale i knew just what i wanted to do with it. The Dr. Mario Viruses were some of my favourite game characters growing up so I decided to paint them!
The canvas is 10 by 30 and i used acrylic paints.

And here is me holding it, so you can get an idea of how big it is.

They look great!  I love Dr Mario and you did a great job

The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese. . . . I would rather have cheese.

You did an awesome job!  I love how the viruses pop against the black and white checkered background.

Thank you so much everyone! The checked background took forever to do since I didn't tape it off, I just drew on a grid and handpainted it. I think next time i'll use painters tape!

Wow, this is exactly the sort of thing I'd love to have decorating a game lounge if I ever get around to creating that space. Sleek and simple, and you nailed nostalgia.

Grrr, now I've gotta fire up the NES emulator and remember where I stuck my USB controller...
