I made this stuffed/plush fawn for PJR107's son in the Enchanted Forest Woodland Creatures Swap.  I know how much he loves stuffed animals, and how much he loves the stuffed animals I make.  When I swap w/his mom, he expects that there will be a stuffed animal, that I made, in the box.   Grin  This was the first time I tried out the pattern.  I'm super please w/how it turned out.  He/she is made from an old lady's coat that I got at a garage sale for free.  His/her eyes, nose, and spots are needle felted.  I've made a couple of more since.  They just need to be stuffed.  I absolutely LOVE how he/she turned out!  I had been in a long time search for a pattern like this, before I happened upon it.  Enjoy!

This is so adorable.  I love the big fawn ears. So like the real ones.

I think it's a pattern by Diane, Sharalee.  It is pretty easy.  It does have a couple of darts, but, nothing too bad.  It whips up pretty quickly.  I sewed this one together by hand, because it was my 1st attempt at the pattern.  I found out very quickly you need to use material that has some stretch to it.  But, not so much stretch that it gets out of shape.  I made a few on the sewing machine.  I think I will stick to sewing them by hand.  It's actually a little easier that way.
