I'm moving into a room that's been freshly painted...in pastel baby pink.  It's even a cold pink, and I have no idea what to do with it.  I go for bold or exotic designs over elegant and lady-like, so I'm NOT looking for Victorian tea party or white-on-pink designs.  My bedspread back home was red, orange, and black paisley.  I had black curtains, and a big red bookshelf and I'd put gold paper on the back of it.  In this new room, I have a choice for bedspread and curtains, and possibly a rug, and then whatever I can put on the walls.  My closet, curtain rod, and desk are a light wood, pine? oak? not sure, but definitely not cherry.  I can't do any painting of the walls or furniture, and I want to work with the pink instead of just trying to force something on it.  Themes in my brain cloud are cozy, warm tones, boudoir, Arabian nights, Moulin Rouge, bohemian.

Personally I really love pink, black and shades of grey.
