I understand this maybe hard to do international, so if it's a lot easier go on ahead without me, ladies ! my stitching hand is quite overworked at the moment anyhow Angry

I think I will limit this swap to US-only for solo participants. But if any of you living outside the US can find and invite a partner from your same country and both sign up at the same time, that would be okay. Smiley

How about:
- SU from 8/4-8/11
- Phase 1 (make your base) must be mailed by 8/25 (2 weeks)
- Phase 2 (finish your partner's hoop) must be mailed back by 9/12 (2 weeks +4 days for Phase 1 mailing time), or 18 days after your partner sends if they are late.

This is really exciting! I can't wait to see how the projects turn out.

Hey alittlemusthave, I am from Australia too and very keen to be part of this swap... perhaps we could sign up together if you like?

I was interested but I will have to think about it as my carpal tunnel syndrome is bad in my wrist right now, so embroidery is on the back burner at the moment. If I decide to do it I will message you before I sign up.

Would it be OK to be working on a base before partners close? Since the base is about us and not our partners that should be OK, right?

Alittlemusthave - I hope you feel better! If you can't use your wrist, don't push yourself - but also don't forget you could try a hoop in some other medium that uses less wrist motion. I've seen some lovely hoops using fabric painting, applique, etc. that might be easier for you.

Jexxican - Hmm... the only issue would be that if you worked on it for a month it might be intimidating for your partner to match your output in just 2 weeks. If it's just a matter of timeshifting, like you have a vacation or something during 8/11-8/25, I don't see a problem, but please don't spend more than 2 weeks on it! Smiley
