I have never hosted a swap before, so would anyone be willing to co-organize with me?

I actually don't have anything on my swap horizon in the near term, except the ATC I have to send out by Thursday. Smiley So, I would like to try to do this pretty soon.

We shouldn't need a long crafting time, since we're going halfsies, right? Maybe
-  signups in July,  say 7/7-7/21
- Phase 1 (make your base) must be mailed by 8/4 (2 weeks)
- Phase 2 (finish your partner's hoop) must be mailed back by 8/21 (2 weeks +3 days for Phase 1 mailing time), or 17 days after your partner sends if they are late.

Is that too soon for everyone?

I don't think a point value makes sense for this swap. Do you think it would work to just ask people's Phase 2 to match or exceed the effort that went into the base?

I would love to but am wrapped up in too many cool swaps at the moment. I might also suggest limiting this to the United States also as shipping over-seas can takes several weeks. Perhaps add an additional week on the back-end. *shrug* If this happened in August I'd be up for it. Otherwise, y'all have fun! Wink

I am booked on swaps through at least July, but might have a free spot in August (more likely September).

I have one spot left for a swap, so I would be in, but I would need it to be an international swap. Also I find that people come out of the woodwork when you actually list it under 'open swaps'. That's what happened to me when I opened the under the sea swap.

If I were to take part it would also have to be International - you might need to add a couple weeks on the end date to allow for postage time.

Also an August swap date would be preferrable too  Cheesy

Haha, you guys have your lives planned out way further ahead than me. Smiley It sounds like most of those interested would rather have SU start in August. Would the 1st week in August work?

This would be my first time organizing a swap, and I am not sure how it would work to have different deadlines for international swappers. Does anyone have experience managing multiple deadlines like that?

I agree with sending back to the original person but do we send it back framed or just send it back and the OP frame it?

I think send it back framed, so it arrives as a complete work of art ready to display.   Smiley
