I have a couple of sister-friends who have summer birthdays.  At Christmas one of them got all 3 of us similar, but not identical tree ornaments and I really like the idea of that.  It's something I remember from the dresses that the Pointer Sisters wore in the 70s so I always think of it as Pointer Sister-style.  Anyway, when I found this vintage apron at the thrift store, I knew we would have Pointer Sister aprons!

I wanted us to all be able to tie big bows above our bums!

Close-ups of the 3.

I absolutely LOVE these! They are just too much and the big bows are the icing on the cake.  Kiss

Great fabrics! (But I so hope you'll make another one with the too-narrow bib shown on the pattern envelope.)

Thanks, lady!  And by "icing" you mean "bows" and by "cake" you mean "buttz"!   Roll Eyes

I'm tempted to make them all!  I'll have to find just the right recipient for the too-narrow bib, that style has a way of going sideways on ladies of a certain, shall we say, endowment.

So cute! I have a couple sister-friends as well and I think now we'll do similar (but not identical) presents. Smiley

Thanks! It was a fun way to share and also honor or differences. Also, we live in 3 different states so it makes me feel a bit closer to them.
