I was raiding my mother's craft stash when I discovered she had several colours of metal wire on hand, and after getting her permission to yank them away and do my thing with them, I decided I would make a rainbow tree of life for an LGBT friend. She's been trying to conceive for over a year now, running into several medical problems, so I wanted to make her a good luck charm. As the tree symbolises life, I hope that new life will soon be on its way for her! I also think she'll like the LGBT Pride symbolism of the colours. First time making a tree without beads, that's strangely harder than with beads! But I'm happy with the result Smiley

What a great idea to use coloured wire.  It turned out really pretty.

Really sweet gift. I'm guessing it will mean a lot to her.

Power is strength and the ability to see yourself through your own eyes and not through the eyes of another. It is being able to place a circle of power at your own feet and not take power from someone else's circle.
