Hi there, I'm new to the board and this is my first post.  I'm looking for a pattern for a coin purse pattern for someone with arthritis in her hands.  She has difficulties some days with maneuvering the clasp or zipper on most so she is currently using a sandwich bag.  I'd love to make her something that would help but need help with brainstorming some ideas. Huh  Any other ideas for items/gadgets that could make life easier for her that a person could make would be most appreciated as well please.  Thanks so much.

Perhaps a solution would be to attach something more comfortable to grab a zipper with, like a large ring, strap, or loop. That is, if you want the security of a zipper instead of an open bag with a magnet or flap.

You might try using Velcro instead of a zipper or snap.
