I'm finally trying to catch up with some of my craft photos, so yes, this was made a year and a half ago for the Craft Detective Swap. My partner was Whistley, and a couple things mentioned on her questionnaire was a need for a big project bag and a love of Disney, so I tried to meet both of those with this Disney princess bag. I used McCall's pattern 5722 for this, and while I didn't mean to go so purple with it, the best Disney fabric I was finding went with that color, so I tried to keep it colorful by adding some contrast to the straps.

This was kinda sorta a bit above my level with all the buckram and interfacing going on, and I did wind up getting a bit of help making the handles themselves (had them halfway done and I was feeling stuck, so my mom pretty much stepped in while I was gone and finished them  Embarrassed ), but otherwise I'm pretty happy with what I accomplished on this bag... and I think it'll be a while before I attempt something this complicated again.  Great bag! I like the contrasting yellow. I would never attempt it because of the bias on the top. Bias tape is not my friend. I have the hardest time with it.
 This looks great!
