I made a color wheel out of French knots. I am kind of in love with them now.

I blogged about it here http://hugsarefun.com/french-knot-color-wheel/

Lovely. I'm working on a colour wheel stitch sampler too right now but there is no way I could do so many French knots.
Yours are so neat and densely packed. It must have taken you ages. But the effect is stunning.
(In fact I got bored with mine and cheated and used beads to fill in the rest   Roll Eyes)

Is it the Dropcloth color wheel sampler?

I don't think so.  It is a 12 petal daisy that our Needlecraft Guild committee found and for the last year we have been learning a new stitch at each monthly meeting which we then use to fill one of the petals.  It has been very educational and everyone has been doing a different interpretation.  I decided to make mine a colour wheel as well as a stitch sampler.
Nearly finished with the last stitch but I don't know how I will finish it off. One lady has made hers into a clock which looks very nice but that would mean cutting out my French knots which are in the centre.
Yours actually looks very nice just displayed in the hoop.
