Buried in Beads!

« on: April 08, 2014 10:49:17 AM »

After pulling my head out of 3d beading land, I realized I needed to make something for a couple of friends birthdays.
No rest for the wicked busy.

So I decided to make some crystal window dangles.   Both friends have dogs, and I wanted to entertain the pets too.

Here is a new one I just made for another April birthday:

Sam loves red, and has a window full of prisms, so I know she will adore it.  There it is I. The box for gifting.

And the full length

Kat is a really neat lady, she helps a lot of other people and has one of those brilliantly colorful personalities.  She got some extra colored beads for her hanger.  She also has a sun room with very tall windows, so it will fit nicely.

This picture came out a little darker.  It's hard to photograph crystals.

Bianca raises rabbits, so she has rabbits included in her hanger.

I ran the line through a few times and added other seed beads to give it texture on the dangly part.

Those were fun.  I have one more to go before my trip too.  Whew.  No more travel in April for me,  too many deadlines!

Looking to de-stash cross stitch magazines, particularly Cross Stitch Gold or New Stitches?  Please drop me a line!  I'd love to swap or buy some missing from my library!

Those are lovely! I made something similar one year for Christmas tree ornaments -- they were super fun to make! I am sure your friends loved them.

I love crystal rainbow creators! The beading you made is a lovely compliment to the crystals!
